Doctors Medical Center of Modesto is
a Level II Trauma center seeking BC/BE Emergency Physicians who
are committed to practicing state of the art medicine. We have a
33 bed Emergency Department seeing 65,000 patients per year. ED
staffing consists of 60 hours of physician coverage and 60 hours
of midlevel coverage per day. Subspecialty backup includes Trauma
Surgery, Neurosurgery, Neurology, OB-Gyn, High Risk OB-GYN, Neonatology,
Family Practice, Hospitalists, Pediatrics, Plastic Surgery, ENT,
Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Urology, Gastroenterology, Interventional
Radiology, Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Nephrology, and Oral
Surgery. We just received a brand new state of the art Ultrasound
machine for our own use but formal ultrasounds are available 24
hours a day as well as MRI, CT scans, and Nuclear Imaging.
We have our own Radiology suite within the Emergency Department.
Phlebotomists and respiratory therapists are also part of the daily
ED staffing.

Modesto is located about 75 miles east of San Francisco 75 miles
west of Yosemite National Park . We have a brand new Performing
Arts Center that opened in 2008. Stanislaus State University is
located 20 miles south of Modesto .
Our Emergency Department has been staffed by CEP America for
the last 30 years. Accelerated partnership tracts may be available
for qualified applicants willing to relocate and become part of
