We are seeking physicians board-certified or residency-trained in
emergency medicine to join our Department of Emergency Medicine.
We are a cohesive group of emergency physicians who are committed
to practicing state-of-the-art, "patient first" emergency

a world-class department. 104,000 annual visits, over 20% of which
are pediatric, making it the busiest emergency department in Maryland.
Union Memorial Hospital offers world-class cardiovascular and
orthopedic surgery programs and is a regional hand surgery referral
center. The Emergency Department sees over 55,000 adult and pediatric
patients. |

| Emergency
Medicine Research Nurse |

| Description: |
George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates
(MFA). The Research Nurse will have primary responsibility for managing
and assisting in the development of research protocols for the department.
Responsibilities will also include the recording and analysis of
data, conducting queries, generating reports and maintaining quality
control.
- Assist the faculty and residents in the department in formulating
research projects, including searching for outside funding for
research.
- Serve as the study coordinator of record for research studies
related to emergency medicine.
- Responsible for subject recruitment, entry and assessment and
the processing and collection of data.
- Prepare IRB submissions for protocol review and approval.
- When requested by the chair or office manager in Emergency Medicine,
support general office functions and other programs in the department.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Must be a, currently, D.C. licensed registered nurse with 3
years of experience
- Research experience in clinical role is essential. |
