Emergency Medicine staff physician needed for this
297- bed community teaching hospital, with residents in IM, FM,
fellows in Maternal-Fetal Health, PA & Paramedic students, as
well as 3rd and 4th year Medical School students. Physicians should
be BE/BC in Emergency Medicine, Residency trained, and will join
a group of all EM boarded physicians who have clinical appointments
to An Ivy League University. The annual volume is 32,000, with 37
hours of double physician coverage, and 12 hours of additional PA
coverage 7 days a week.
Physicians should be prepared to work 1692
clinical hours per year; 8 and 10-hour shifts. The ED will be undergoing
expansion and renovation within the next 18-24 months. In addition
the department has installed an ED information system from Emergisoft
to a paperless system. Additionally the department acquired their
own Ultrasound machine, and physicians with training use it where
appropriate.
Generous compensation and benefit package includes fully paid family

insurance, CME, and productivity based incentive bonus. In close

to offer.
