group. This medical center has a 10 bed emergency room with 20,000
ED encounters per year and no trauma. The ED group works 12 hours

We are seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine
(ABEM or ABOEM) physicians for a four-hospital system in Albuquerque.
The department volumes range from 16,000- 32,000 with double coverage
at most locations. ACLS, ATLS and APLS/PALS required. ED operates
24 / 7 with MD and DO physicians working 12-hour shifts; 8am-8pm,
8pm-8am. NPs provide coverage 10 hours/day from 2pm-12am. Hospital

It is about 18 miles from the Texas border. This is a 22 bed hospital
with a 6 bed EM department. We are providing emergency department
coverage as needed with independent contracting physicians. We provide
the malpractice insurance with no deduction from the hourly rate.
Physician requirements are a New Mexico license, DEA, New Mexico
drug permit, plus current ACLS and ATLS certification. The hospital
is seeing about 800 patients per month. They see about 34% Pediatric,
13% Geriatric and 19% Trauma. |
