have a great opportunity at Ocean Medical Center(OMC) in Brick,
NJ which is just minutes from the beach - a fabulous location! OMC
is a community hospital with an annual volume of 40,000 with physician
double coverage and MLP coverage. OMC is a 241-bed acute care facility
offering a full range of services. OMC is operating the state's
first satellite emergency department which sees about 17,000 patients
annually called the OMC Care Center located in Point Pleasant, NJ
which is about 3 miles away from OMC-Brick. The Ocean Care Center
opened in June 2004 and the facility houses more than 9,500 square
feet of diagnostic and treatment space. If you are a BP/BC ABEM
physician, EmCare is looking for you! This is a terrific location
close to the Jersey Shore and within 1 hour to NYC and Philadelphia.
Brick, New Jersey is the heart of the Jersey Shore. Brick was named
the second safest place to live in America for the second consecutive

Jersey Shore University Medical Center is a member
of University Health System, a consortium of major teaching hospitals
in the state of New Jersey and, as a major affiliate of the UMDNJ
(Robert Wood Johnson Medical school), designated as a major "core"
teaching hospital. This 502-bed acute care hospital is a Level II
Trauma Center and Pediatric Trauma Center, which sees 66,000 patients
annually.
There are 69 hours of physician coverage per day (18 hours in Prompt
Care) plus 8-12hrs/dy of a Pediatrician & 8hrs/dy of Nurse Practitioner
coverage. JSUMC has approval for a $235 million expansion and renovation
project, which will include a new state-of-the-art ED and trauma
center. The ED will open in 2008 and will be able to accommodate
100,000 annual visits.

TeamHealth East is seeking a full-time staff physician for this
new facility with a 30-bed emergency department and an annual patient
volume of 48,000. The emergency department has separate pediatrics
coverage and 20 hours a day of mid-level provider coverage. Hospital-based
medical command for MICU/ALS system is available. The department
sees no major trauma. The facility is a community hospital serving
an area with a medium-to-high economic base population with easy
access to both Philadelphia and New York City. 8-, 10- and 12-hour
shifts are available.
