MEDICAL DIRECTOR Opening in MESQUITE, NV!
We are seeking a Medical Director for a fairly new facility that
opened in July 2004. The ED has 7 beds, + 2 additional beds used
for 24 hr observation. The hospital has plans to grow from 24 licensed
beds to 40 licensed beds with the potential to increase to 90 beds.
The Medical Director provides on-site leadership of the ED's operations
& development. This position serves as a liaison between EmCare,
emergency physicians, medical staff, and hospital administration,
in order to improve communication, address issues of concern, resolve
perceived problems, and promote the delivery of emergency services.
Mesquite, Nevada is the fastest growing city in Nevada. It is located
on I-15 in southeastern Nevada on the Arizona border and is built
near the banks of the Virgin River. Within one hour north of Las
Vegas, Mesquite boasts several beautiful resorts offering all the
excitement and services of Las Vegas without the crowds. Mesquite
has one of the lowest local tax rates in NV.
We offer an A-rated malpractice insurance program with no-tail obligation
upon departure. Medical Director will receive generous monthly stipend
and Employee benefits. Clinical hours are Independent Contractor
