Benefis Healthcare seeking physician BC/BE in Emergency Medicine
or boarded in another specialty with adequate experience. Current
group is 100% residency trained in Emergency Medicine, 50/50 D.O./M.D.
Very stable democratic group has rare openings due to growth and
departure of physician.
Salary transitions into production based income when full membership
is attained. Excellent benefits including CME, health, job related
expenses and pension. Average 1.5 patients per hour with high
acuity/critical care; 25% to 50% admission rate. Forty hours daily
Dr. coverage (10 hour shifts), 16 hours daily FNP coverage (fast
track). 36,000 ED volume. Part-time or full-time will be considered.

Holy Rosary Healthcare is a new facility (1995),
is very up-to-date (e.g. HRH is very proud of a 64-slice CT scanner
- one of only two in the state, a new sleep center and urgent care
clinic) and has a very committed staff and Board. There are 44 licensed
acute care beds and 107 in the extended care facility. HRH is the
only licensed acute care hospital on the eastern part of the state
and is a regional referral center. The ED physicians see about 500
ER visits per month and there are currently three PA's and an MD
(who is the Medical Director). There are 20 healthcare providers
on staff, ranging from primary care to surgery to ED, as well as
some visiting specialists that bring the total to 60. The ED staff
work about 2100 hours per year. This consists of ED shifts (which
are worked in-house on 24 hour shifts) and urgent care (usually
a 7 hour shift).
Typically, physicians are employed by the hospital although this
is flexible and any sort of arrangement will be considered. A very
lucrative incentive plan is available as well as signing bonus,
relocation allowance, continuing medical education related expenses
and the usual benefit package.

for an opportunity at St. James Hospital in Butte, Montana. The
hospital has 61 beds and a 12-bed ED. The recently renovated ED
has annual patient volume of 14,000. Shifts are 12 hours of single
coverage during the week with mid-level provider coverage on weekends.
Butte, Montana, has a population of 34,000 and is located in the
Rocky Mountains on the Western edge of the Continental Divide. Butte
has a diverse economic base directed by energy research, education,
and tourism. The city lies at 5,484 feet and is surrounded by mountains
that offer many outdoor recreational activities.
