Emergency Medical Associates, PLLC (EMA)
is a stable, democratic Emergency Medicine group in Lansing, Michigan.
EMA is currently seeking BC ABEM/AOBEM physicians for the Sparrow
Health System.
Sparrow Hospital has 676 licensed beds and is the region’s
only Level I trauma center.
Sparrow Hospital also features a pediatric emergency department,
the first of its kind in mid-Michigan. Some of the many amenities
of the Sparrow Hospital Emergency Department include electronic
medical records, 67 all private patient rooms and 24/7 air medical
transport. The hospital is also a certified stroke center with
the benefit of new technologies such as a 320-slice CT scanner.
Sparrow Hospital’s St. Lawrence Campus
houses not only a fully-functioning emergency department but is
home to a wide variety of specialty services. The Sparrow Sleep
Center, Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, Sparrow Specialty Hospital
that includes long-term acute care, day surgery, dialysis and
inpatient and outpatient behavioral health programs are all available
at this campus. The emergency department sees an annual volume
of 27,000.
Sparrow Ionia Hospital is a well-established
25-bed, critical access hospital with an 8-bed emergency department
with an annual volume of 14,000. This facility is located Northwest
of Lansing and meets the daily needs of residents in Ionia County
without the commute to Lansing or Grand Rapids. The hospital features
a number of specialties and centers and has served the surrounding
community for over 60 years.
