Parkway Medical Center’s Emergency Services includes a Level II Emergency Department providing comprehensive emergency, urgent, and trauma care to communities in Morgan and surrounding counties, 24-hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week. Rapid transport of patients via helicopter is available, should the need arise. In April 2001, Parkway completed new construction of our 7600 square foot Emergency Department. The new ER houses 12 private treatment rooms, a pediatric waiting room, and specially designed pediatric exam room. Additionally, custom-designed OB/GYN exam rooms allow maximum privacy. A separate bereavement room allows privacy for families. Parkway is also prepared to manage potential industrial accidents with a large decontamination room for treating chemical exposure.

TeamHealth Southeast has an opportunity for an emergency department
staff physician at Lakeview Community Hospital in Eufaula, Alabama.
This emergency department has an annual patient volume of 10,000,
and physicians can work 24-hour shifts, single coverage. The x-ray,
CT and lab are located next to the emergency department, and there
is great orthopedic and surgery backup. We offer a recently increased
hourly rate that is very competitive for the area and professional
liability insurance. This contract will start August 31, 2005.
Eufaula, Alabama, home of Lake Eufaula, is located on the Chattahoochee
