Full-Time position at Lakeview Community Hospital
TeamHealth Southeast has an opportunity for an emergency department
staff physician at Lakeview Community Hospital in Eufaula, Alabama.
This emergency department has an annual patient volume of 10,000,
and physicians can work 24-hour shifts, single coverage. The x-ray,
CT and lab are located next to the emergency department, and there
is great orthopedic and surgery backup. We offer a recently increased
hourly rate that is very competitive for the area and professional
liability insurance. This contract will start August 31, 2005.
Eufaula, Alabama, home of Lake Eufaula, is located on the Chattahoochee
River and is known as the 'Bass Capital of the World. 'Eufaula boasts
a long history and a strong sense of historic preservation. Each
year Eufaula hosts many festivals, including the annual historic
homes tour known as the Eufaula Pilgrimage. Many of the old homes

acute care facility services 55,000 residents in Jackson County. The 40

nursing homes. Team Health began staffing this facility on 11/01/2002. The
ED has 18,000 annual volume, Medium acuity, 14 beds 12 hour shifts; 6a-6p &
6p-6a with double coverage on Monday-Friday from 5pm-11pm, and on Saturdays
and Sundays from 3pm to 11 pm. We have a supportive Medical Director and
